The pair of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi became very famous as Circuit and Munna Bhai from the movie Munna Bhai MBBS. The friendship of both was shown very well. There was also a dialogue of Arshad (Circuit) in the movie which is still famous “Bhai ne bola karne ka to karne ka”. Even after this, both of them have made many movies together like: “Dhamaal”, “Lage Raho Munna Bhai”, “Anthony Kaun Hai”.
Recently Arshad Warsi also told an incident that happened during the shooting of the 2006 film “Anthony Kaun Hai” in an interview. He told that he had gone to Bangkok for the shooting of this movie where he had a fight with two foreigners, along with them was Farhan Akhtar’s sister-in-law Anusha Dandekar.
Arshad says that such things should not be said normally. But since this is related to Sanjay, I think I can say this.
What was the whole story
Arshad says- We (Arshad and Sanjay) were shooting for the film Anthony Kaun Hai in Bangkok. One day after the shooting was over, I, Sanjay, his friend Bittu and Anusha decided to go out and have dinner. Anusha was also a part of this film. Anusha was walking a little ahead of us. I was following her, Sanjay and Bittu were behind me.
Then two foreign boys started molesting Anusha. Those people were drunk so they started circling around me. Seeing this, we also got ready to join the fight.
We were about to start the fight, when we realized that people were recording us. Then our attention went to stop the recording from the people. Both the foreigners thought that Arshad and Sanjay were local dons.
Arshad further says- After some time a group of people started shouting Baba-Baba. This made the boys think that we are some local dons and they ran away. It was a very strange scene.
Arshad Warsi has talked about his friendship with Sanjay Dutt in an old interview. He had said- He is a great person. He is very nice. He has gone through a lot of things. He is a loving person. He always keeps sending me random messages.
