Success often makes an actor's journey look effortless, but for Kranti Prakash Jha, the road to recognition was filled with uncertainty, repeated rejection and years of patience. The Raktanchal actor recently looked back at the challenges he faced before finding his place in the industry, saying those experiences helped shape both his career and his mindset.
Speaking about one of the biggest lessons he has learned, Kranti said rejection is simply a part of life that nobody can avoid. According to him, trying to escape failure is impossible, so the only option is to accept it, learn from it and continue moving forward. He believes every setback made him mentally stronger and motivated him to keep chasing his dream.
The actor also shared a glimpse of his early days in Mumbai when every audition demanded hard work beyond just acting. He recalled travelling from Goregaon to Mahalakshmi by local train with multiple sets of clothes because the crowded commute would leave his outfit drenched in sweat. Before facing the camera at Famous Studio, he and many aspiring actors would freshen up, change clothes and prepare themselves for auditions.
Although Kranti received appreciation for his role in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, he revealed that the recognition did not immediately lead to more opportunities. He said the two years following the film were particularly difficult. Work was scarce, finances were tight and he often questioned why new projects were not coming his way despite the positive response to his performance.
Even during that challenging period, Kranti said he never allowed success or praise to change his personality. He credited his parents for teaching him to stay grounded, adding that he remained humble despite the appreciation he received. At the same time, he admitted that living without regular work and income tested his patience.
Things eventually turned around, and today Kranti is being celebrated for his performance as Vijay Singh in Raktanchal 3. The latest season has further strengthened his reputation as a dependable performer in the OTT space. Looking back, his journey stands as a reminder that talent alone is not always enough. Persistence, humility and the ability to keep going through difficult phases can make all the difference in building a lasting career.
