Utkarsh India has been manufacturing Hollow Sections at its facility in Jangalpur, Howrah, West Bengal. As demand for these products continues to grow, the company has further expanded its manufacturing capabilities by commencing Hollow Section production at its Gurap facility in Hooghly, West Bengal. This strategic expansion enables an increase in production capacity, strengthening supply capabilities and meeting the growing requirements of customers across diverse structural and engineering applications.

Achieving the FY2026-27 growth roadmap, Utkarsh India is strengthening its overall steel pipe production capabilities through the introduction of Round, Square, and Rectangular Hollow Sections. The mill is equipped with a control laboratory, online NDT inspection, automatic speed synchronisation, high-frequency solid-state welding and a servo-controlled cutting system. With a line speed ranging from 10 to 36 metres per minute.

The mill can process HR carbon steel coils with yield strengths of 250-550 MPa, along with pre-galvanised and zinc-magnesium-coated coils. This strategic addition strengthens its steel product portfolio and supports the company's journey towards its 2,40,000 MT steel pipe capacity target for FY 2026–27.
