EARLY LIFE :
Ankit Tiwari was born on Thursday, 6 March 1986, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He completed his schooling at Jugal Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Kanpur.
Ankit Tiwari was born into a Hindu-Brahmin Family. His father’s name is Rajendra Kumar Tiwari is a businessman and a devotional singer. His mother’s name is Suman Tiwari, a devotional singer. His parents have a divine band of their own, “Raju Suman and Party.” Ankit has a brother, Ankur Tiwari.
CAREER :
His first job was at a radio station ‘Radio Chaska’ in Gwalior, as a production head. In 2008, he moved to Mumbai with his brother to try his luck as a playback singer. Ankit and his brother stayed in Mumbai with Anuj Kumar, who worked in Virar as a cameraman. Ankit used to compose jingles for TV commercials at the beginning of his career. As a music composer, he first broke in the film “Do Dooni Chaar” in 2010. His first song as a singer in a Bollywood film was ‘Saheb Bada Hathila’ from Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 2011, but he failed to get recognition.
Later, Mahesh Bhatt heard him singing and asked him to lend his voice to the song “Sunn Raha Hai” in ‘Aashiqui 2’ 2013, and this song was a chartbuster. He has lent his voice to more chartbuster songs, including ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’ from Roy 2015, ‘Dil Cheez Tujhe Dedi’ from Airlift 2016, and ‘Tere Liye’ from Sanam Re 2016. He has worked as a music director in Bollywood films like “PK” 2014, “Khamoshiyan” 2015, “Tum Bin 2” 2016, and “Sadak 2” 2020. He has been featured in the music videos like ‘Badtameez’ 2016, ‘Mehbooba’ 2018, and ‘Tere Do Naina’ 2019.
PERSONAL LIFE :
Ankit Tiwari’s grandmother met Pallavi in 2017 while traveling on a train from Kanpur to Delhi. After a normal conversation, she found Pallavi to be an ideal match for her grandson, Ankit Tiwari. Subsequently, he got married to Pallavi Shukla.
He received an award for Best Music Director for Aashiqui 2 2013.
