Nadal was born on June 3 1986 in Manacor, Spain. His parents are Ana Maria Parera Femenias (Mother) & Sebastian Nadal Homar (Father). Sebastian is a businessman and he is in the insurance and some other business. Rafael also has a younger sister Maria Isabel.
When he was just 12, he won European and Spanish tennis tournaments. He was also interested in football but his father made him choose either one of them so he chose tennis. In 2001 when he was just 15 years old.
Profession Tennis career
Rafael started playing professionally when he was 15 years old. He started his game in the junior category in the year 2001. That year was a mix of wins and losses for Rafael. But the next year he finished his season with 40-9 in singles. He won 6 singles tournaments in 2002. He won his first ATP match and he became the ninth player to do so before the age of 16. He did so by defeating Ramon Delgado. He reached rank 49 in the year 2003. His triumph wins continued and He won his first Grand Slam title by defeating the world champion of that time Roger Federer. Fast forward to 2022, and he is currently in 3rd position. He is considered one of the best players ever in tennis history.
