Akshay Kumar’s comedy entertainer ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has made a strong start at the box office. Within just four days of its release, the film crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide . According to Sacnilk, the film has earned ₹106.48 crore worldwide and ₹72.25 crore in India.
Strong Box Office Run
The film is doing well at the box office. It opened with ₹3.75 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹15.25 crore on Friday and ₹20 crore on Saturday. Sunday turned out to be the biggest day, with the film collecting ₹24.75 crore. On Monday, it added another ₹8.5 crore, taking its India gross collection to ₹86.53 crore.
The film is also performing well overseas. It earned ₹3 crore gross in international markets on Monday, taking its total overseas collection to ₹19.95 crore. With strong earnings from India and abroad, the film’s worldwide gross has reached ₹106.48 crore in just four days.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is the third film in the Welcome franchise, following the hit films Welcome (2007) and Welcome Back (2015). Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film is based on an original story by the late writer Neeraj Vora.
