Bigg Boss 19 winner and TV actor Gaurav Khanna has finally reacted to reports of his separation from wife Akanksha Chamola. Recently, Akanksha announced on the reality show Lock Upp Season 2 that the two had decided to part ways. Now, while speaking to the media outside the sets of Laughter Chefs on June 30, Gaurav said he will always support Akanksha because she is his wife. He also wished her success for her new show.
When paparazzi asked Gaurav about the ongoing buzz on social media, he smiled and said everything is fine. He added that his love and support for Akanksha remain the same.
Gaurav said, “I will always support Akanksha. She is my wife. If I have loved her, why would I step back now?” He also said he wants her to do well in Lock Upp Season 2 and hopes she wins the show.
On Lock Upp Season 2, Akanksha spoke about the reason behind their separation. She shared that she never felt the desire to become a mother. At first, she tried to understand her feelings, but later realized that motherhood was not for her. According to Akanksha, Gaurav had agreed with her in the beginning, but over time he changed his mind and now wants children, while she does not.
Akanksha also revealed that she and Gaurav have been living separately for the past one year. She said she told Gaurav that if this difference was important to him, then separating would be the right decision. Since her statement, many people on social media have been discussing the issue, with some even calling it a publicity stunt for the show.
Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola first met during an audition and soon became friends. Gaurav and Akanksha got married in 2016 after dating for several years. Gaurav is known for Anupamaa and Bigg Boss 19, while Akanksha has worked in Swaragini.
