About – (Randeep Hooda) Hooda made his debut as an actor in the film Monsoon Wedding (2001), directed by Mira Nair. In the film, he played a non-resident Indian from Australia. In spite of the fact that the movie was well received by critics and audiences alike, Hooda did not begin production on his next project for another four years.
In the meantime, he supported himself financially by working in the theatre and appearing in television advertisements. Additionally, he participated in a workshop on creativity and improvisation that was led by Naseeruddin Shah and held at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. He also assisted with the workshop.
