AICWA Demands Action After Tragic Death on Love & War Set

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Love & War has landed in controversy after a tragic accident on set. A 42-year-old carpenter, Chandradhari Singh Yadav, died after being electrocuted during the shoot in Mumbai. After the incident, the production house announced ₹40 lakh compensation for his family.

AICWA has asked for strict action, including an FIR and ₹1 crore compensation for the victim's family. The association also claimed that proper safety measures were not followed on the set.

The accident reportedly happened on June 17 after a short circuit. Despite efforts by the medical team, Chandradhari could not be saved. Love & War stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is said to be a love triangle set against a war backdrop. The teaser and trailer have not been released yet.
