Yuzvendra Singh Chahal is an International Indian cricketer. He plays for Haryana on the domestic cricket team. He plays for Rajasthan Royal in the Indian Premier League. He plays in One day & T20I format. He is a multi-talented person and has also represented India on the international level in chess. He has taken 6 wickets in one match of the T201 format. He is the first Indian & second player in the whole world to do so.

Chahal was born on July 23rd, 1990 in Jind, Haryana. KK Chahal, his father is an advocate. Before starting to play cricket, he was passionate about chess and played on junior levels.
Cricket Career of Chahal
Chahal started playing for Mumbai Indians in 2011. He managed to appear only in one game in a total of three seasons. He was purchased by Royal Challengers in 2014 at a base price of 10 lakh. He got man of the match in the match against Delhi Daredevils. He was purchased back by Royal Challengers in 2018. Currently, he is in Rajasthan Royals.
He started his One-day international career against the team Zimbabwe. In his second match, he took 3 wickets at the cost of only 26 runs. India won that match with 8 wickets. On February 1, 2017, he became the first player Indian to take five wickets onT20I match. He took the most number of wickets in 2017, a total of 23 wickets. He took his 100th wicket of the ODI format in February against West Indies.
Chess Career
Chahal not only plays cricket but is also a very good chess player. He has represented India in chess also. He represented India in World Youth Chess Championship. He had to give up on this game as he was not able to find any sponsor for this game. He has been rated 1956 according to FIDE ratings.
