In response, India won the match by scoring 248 runs in 48 overs. This is the team’s biggest one-day chase. Earlier in 2017, the team made the biggest chase by scoring 245 runs against South Africa itself.

In the match, India won the toss and decided to bowl. Opener Lee (40) and Laura (69) added 76 runs. In response, India did not start well. Jemima (18) and Priya (20) were out for 66 runs. Mithali Raj (66) and Poonam (65) added 129 runs for the third wicket to ensure victory.
