The 4th West zone Karate Championship, an event that has been a testament to excellence and sportsmanship, was held at the famous Basketball Stadium in Indore from August 16 to 18. This exciting championship was hosted by the Karate Association of Western India with the warm hospitality of MP Sports Karate Association and the proud patronage of the Karate Association of India.
More than 1,100 karatekas participated in this year’s championships, making it one of the largest events in recent years. Participants from various regions showcased their skills in several categories, including sub-junior, junior, U21 and senior. Each participant gave their best on the tatami, demonstrating exceptional technique, determination and respect for the martial art.
The three-day event was a vibrant celebration of karate, where the atmosphere was full of energy and the competitive spirit was palpable. From young aspirants to veterans, they competed fiercely but fairly, embodying the true essence of karate.
