Storyline – Soup is the story of Swathi Shetty (Konkona Sensharma), an incompetent cook who dreams of having a restaurant of her own someday, and her suspicious husband, Prabhakar (Manoj Bajpayee), who won’t help with her aspirations and has his own doubts.
The film is loosely based on a real-life incident and follows the story of Swathi and Prabhakar. The hand of chance will soon extend an opportunity to her, at which point she will begin to formulate a cunning strategy. However, things do not go as planned due to the presence of whimsical characters and novice bad guys who spoil the broth.
