Sanjeev Kapoor is one of the most renowned chefs in India. He was also the host of the Indian cooking show named Khana Khazana. This is the longest-running cooking show in Asia. It was broadcasted in over 120 countries & had over 500 million viewers. He launched his channel named Food Food which is a 24x7 lifestyle & food channel.
Early Life
Sanjeev was born on April 10, 1964, in the Ambala district of Haryana. He was born to Surinder Kapoor, his father who was an employee of the state bank of India & Urmila Kapoor, his mother who is a housewife. He completed his diploma in Hotel Management in 1984 and went ahead to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. He completed his diploma from the Insitute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition which is situated in New Delhi.
Career of Sanjeev
He started his career with the India Tourism Development Corporation. He was appointed to the post of management trainee in 1982. He was again posted as a trainee in the Hotel Varanasi Ashok and just after two months he was promoted to the post of a chef. After 6 years of working at that hotel, he shifted to New Zealand. He worked as a chef in hotel Zanzibar. After that, he changed and served many hotels.
When Sanjeev was working at Centaur Hotel, he got an offer to host a tv show named Khana Khazana which was aired on Zee TV. Khana Khazana started its journey in 1993 and ended in 2012 with its last episode released in 2012. It is the longest-running cooking show in Asia. He started his reality show in 2013 named Sanjeev Kapoor Ke Kitchen Khiladi which was aired on Sony Tv. He also owns a company named Khana Khazana and it has opened a restaurant in Dubai.

Sanjeev Kapoor was once trolled for experimenting with Malabar Paneer. Malabar is a traditional dish of Kerala. This dish is prepared with fish, beef, or chicken. When Sanjeev tried to make it with paneer south people bashed him for doing this. Although Sanjeev never apologized for this. Sanjeev believed that he did nothing wrong by doing this.
