Rishte Naate Storyline
Jas and Reet, a Punjabi couple living in the UK, find themselves in a difficult situation. Jas is so busy with his demanding business that he is unable to give time to Reet. Reet is worried about this and seeks help from her mother-in-law Kartar Kaur from India. When Kartar arrives, she meets an old friend Maggar which further increases the family tension. Seeing the situation worsening, Jas calls her father Balwant Singh to solve the problem, but his presence complicates the situation further. Disheartened, Reet decides to get a divorce. Meanwhile, Jas realises his mistakes and tries to reunite his family with the help of a friend.
