She completed her high school at Coorg Public School. She pursued her graduation from the Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts. She bagged the first position in the Clean & Clear Fresh face contest in 2014. After this achievement, she decided to pursue modeling.

Rashmika started her career in 2016 as a model. Her acting career started with the movie Kirik Party. This became the biggest hit Kannada movie of the year. Her work was praised by many critics. This movie brought her many awards and nationwide recognition.
