About – (Jaideep Ahawat) Even though Jaideep’s heart was with the Indian Army, he did theatre when he was young. The repeated failure of his SSB interviews led him to try his hand at acting. He used to do stage shows in Punjab and Haryana.
He didn’t start taking acting seriously until after he finished school. He entered the film-world the hard way, without any godfather. When Ahlawat arrived in Mumbai in 2008, he stayed there for a while. The film Khatta Meetha by Priyadarshan, in which he played an antagonist, brought him to widespread attention (2010).
That same year, he co-starred with Ajay Devgn in the film Aakrosh. In the years that followed, he appeared in a slew of feature films, such as Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Kamal Hasan’s Vishwaroopam (2001).
