Militants attacked a CRPF convoy in Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir with a grenade. So far, one CRPF soldier has been injured in the attack.
A shopkeeper was also reported injured in the attack. The grenade was hurled at the main bus base of Achbal in Anantnag. The CRPF patrolling party is stationed here. The grenade exploded on the road, injuring a CRPF soldier.
The injured CRPF jawan and shopkeeper were taken to the District Hospital in Achbal, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of the two is reported to be correct. No one has been seriously hurt.

The terrorists managed to throw grenades and escape. However, a search operation is being carried out in the area. No information has been found against the attackers at present.
Taking advantage of the stampede after the attack, the attackers were able to escape. Additional security forces were called there immediately after the attack.
