Big Bollywood stars were present on this occasion. The purpose of inviting the film industry was to inspire people to film on Gandhi and Gandhism on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Many Bollywood celebrities attended this event and gave their suggestions about related to Gandhiji. On the Prime Minister’s House 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, Narendra Modi said during this time that Gandhi’s thoughts are synonymous with simplicity.
During the meeting, he appealed to film personalities to visit the Gandhi Museum in Dandi. Modi said that you people should also go to the Statue of Unity, where people of the country and out of other country people are coming. PM Modi said, “The film and television world is doing a great job promoting Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas.” Film actor Aamir Khan said, “I appreciate PM Modi’s efforts to publicize Bapu’s ideas.
