About – (Deepak Tijori) When Mahesh Bhatt cast him in the character of the protagonist’s companion in the love drama Aashiqui, it was the first significant role that Tijori had the opportunity to portray (1990). The movie was a commercial success, and the hand movements that he used in the movie were extensively imitated by young people living at that era. Both Afsana Pyar Ka (1991) and Kaun Kare Kurbanie (1992) featured him in supporting parts (1991).

In the same year, Bhatt cast him once more in supporting roles for two of his movies: the romantic drama Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and the romantic thriller Sadak. Tijori played the role of a guy who is slain by a pimp after he runs away with one of the prostitutes in the latter picture, which was a loose adaptation of Taxi Driver (1976), which was directed by Martin Scorsese.
