About – Summer Bodhi Nicks, better known simply as “Summer Nicks,” is an Australian film director, writer, and actor. Nicks is also known just by his first name. He serves as the Creative Director and a partner in the Xeitgeist Entertainment Group, which is responsible for producing recent films such as “The Man Who Knew Infinity,” a biopic film starring Jeremy Irons, Dev Patel, Stephen Fry, and Devika Bhise; “Damascus Cover,” a spy thriller starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Hurt; and “Hotel Mumbai,” starring Armie Hammer and Derv Patel.
In the years 2012–2013, his movie “Seedlings” took home a number of prestigious awards, including “Best Film” and “People’s Choice Award” at the New York City Film Festival and the “Best Actress Award” twice at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Film Festival.
His leading lady, Aamina Sheikh, was also recognised for her work in the film. At the Washington, DC South Asian Film Festival, the movie was also deemed the “Best Film.” Additionally, Summer was nominated for “Best Original Screenplay” multiple times during the course of her career.
His first film as a filmmaker, “Operation 021,” was a high-octane, action-packed spy thriller that was released in 2014 and received an 8.5 rating. It reached number one at the box office in more than ten markets.
