Hardik Himanshu Pandey is a cricket player who plays in the Indian national cricket team. He is the current captain of the Gujarat Titans which is a new team in IPL. He is an all-rounder player who is both a good batsman and a bowler.

Early Life

Hardik was born on October 11, 1993. He was born in Surat, Gujarat. Himanshu Pandya, his father used to run a car finance business. He closed that business and migrated to Vadodara after five years of Hardik’s birth. He wanted Hardik to be a cricketer only from the beginning. They shifted to Vadodara for Hardik cricket training only. Hardik was admitted to Kiran More cricket academy. He was doing his schooling from MK School but dropped out in 9^th class only to focus on cricket full time.

The Career of Hardik Pandey

Hardik started playing for the Baroda cricket team in 2013. He helped the team to win Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. They won this trophy in the 2012-14 season. In the next season, he scored a total of 86 runs that too including sixes and fours.

In IPL, he played for Mumbai Indian, the most successful team in IPL from 2015 to 2021. In 2022 he became the captain of Gujarat Titans and lead his team to the title. He was the second only player to lead a team to the title in his debut captaincy season. He started playing T20 in 2016 and he took 2 wickets for Australia. He started his ODI career in the same year.
