About – (Vasan Bala) Vasan Bala is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor who is predominantly active in the Indian film industry known as Bollywood. It is as a screenwriter for the historical crime drama Bombay Velvet (2015) and the neo noir psychological thriller Raman Raghav 2.0 that he has gained the most notoriety (2016).

Peddlers, a crime thriller that Vasan directed for the first time in 2012, was submitted for consideration for a Golden Camera Award at the Cannes Film Festival that same year. In addition to this, he has worked as an assistant director on films such as Dev.D (2009), Gulaal (2009), and Trishna (2011). He has also acted in Aamir (2008) and Ugly (2008) in supporting roles that are not particularly significant (2013).

As a dialogue writer, some of his most notable film credits are “The Lunchbox” (2013) and “Rukh” (2017). His Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota album is scheduled for release in 2019.
