Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an Indian cricketer. He plays for Uttar Pradesh in Intra state tournaments. He plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. He is arguably one of the best bowlers in the world. He can swing the ball either way with ease.

Early Life of Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was born on February 5, 1990, in Meerut. He hails from a Dalit family. He was encouraged by her sister to play cricket. She was also the one who took him to the coaching center for the first time when he was just 13 years old.

Domestic Career

Bhuvneshwar plays for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team in domestic cricket. He had also played in Duleep Trophy. He started playing first class when he was 17, his first match was against Bengal. He was the first player in the Ranji Trophy final, to take the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar at a score of zero.

IPL Career

After seeing his performance in Ranji Trophy in the year 2008/9 he was given a chance to play in IPL. He was purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore. After that, he was purchased by Pune Warriors India, in 2011. That team stop existing after 2013, luckily he was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014.

In 2016, Sunrisers won the IPL trophy and Bhuvneshwar played a major role in it by taking 23 wickets. He also won a purple cap in that season. He was made the team’s vice-captain in 2018.

International Career

Kumar started playing international cricket in 2012. He started with ODI & T20I matches against Pakistan. He played his first test match in 2013. The same year he took 4 wickets just at the cost of 8 runs. He was awarded the Player of the Series in that tournament. Next year only he took 6 wickets at the cost of 82 runs. He always has been one of the best ballers in the world.
