The film stars Mohanlal in the title role and Maya Rao West as Isabella da Gama. Barroz is a children’s fantasy film.The film Barroz is based on the novel Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure by Jijo Punnoose.

Storyline- Talking about the story, it is shown in the story that when Vasco da Gama came to India centuries ago, he left his treasure here. Now Vasco da Gama is no more but that treasure is being protected by a ghost named Barroz and he is waiting for the real descendants of Vasco da Gama so that he can hand over his treasure to them.
