Police and army have recovered two pistols, 70 bullets and two grenades in a joint operation. These criminal elements were kept hidden in bushes along the Line of Control (LoC) in Dabba village of Poonch district of Jammu division.
Officials gave this information on Wednesday. Weapons and ammunition were placed on behalf of Pakistan’s terrorist handlers, and were recovered on revelations of three terrorist helpers arrested on Sunday.
Senior Police Officer (SSP) of Poonch Ramesh Angaral said that one of the arrested persons, Yasin Khan, received some important clues during interrogation after which a police and army team launched a operation in Dabba area and recovered arms and ammunition in a polythene bag in the bushes.
SSP of Poonch Ramesh Angral said So far two pistols 70 bullets and two grenades have been recovered and the search is on.He said that terrorist organizations were trying to target religious places in Poonch but their evil intentions were thwarted by the army and police.
