On July 18, 2026, the makers of Nitesh Tiwari’s epic hosted an exclusive pre-release event titled “Pratham Sankalp” at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The star-studded evening officially began the film’s global promotional campaign, just days before the worldwide trailer drops on July 24.
Popular television actress Shanaya Sharma was one of the notable guests in attendance. The gathering brought together the cast and creators of the ambitious two-part film for their first-ever joint public appearance. Attendees were given an exclusive, embargoed first look at the film’s much-hyped trailer.
Ramayana: Part 1 is all set for a grand Diwali 2026 theatrical release, with Part 2 slated for Diwali 2027. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in lead roles, boasting a spectacular musical collaboration between Academy Award winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.
