When a fan asked about a protest, Diljit said he does not want to be involved in such matters. He said he is an entertainer, not a politician, and requested people not to drag him into political discussions. He also added that he prefers to focus only on his work in the entertainment industry.
During the live session, Diljit quoted a line from the Guru Granth Sahib, saying that life can never be perfect and everyone faces difficulties. He later joked that he wished both the people protesting and those facing the protest well, adding that he did not know much about the issue.
The CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak case.
Diljit had earlier supported farmers’ protest in 2020–21. However, Diljit now avoids political matters and says he has no plans to enter politics. He says he only wants to entertain people through his work. Recently, he was seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film Main Wapas Aaunga. He is also performing around the world as part of his Aura Tour 2026.
