Shah Rukh Khan’s Knight Riders Group, in partnership with Major League Cricket (MLC), has unveiled the new Knight Riders Cricket Ground in Pomona, Los Angeles County, California.Built at the Fairplex in just 100 days, the venue will serve as the home ground of the Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR).
After the stadium opened, Shah Rukh Khan shared a post on Instagram, saying that a dream had come true. He welcomed fans to the new ground and said it was built for cricket, families, entertainment, and special memories. He also thanked ICC Chairman Jay Shah and MLC CEO Sanjog Gupta for their support and dedicated the stadium to cricket fans and the entire Knight Riders family.
The launch video featured Ali Khan, Dwayne Bravo, and Sunil Narine. The stadium is also expected to be an important venue for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, where cricket will make its return.
The new ground has eight pitches, ICC-standard boundaries, and six floodlight towers. The Los Angeles Knight Riders have been part of Major League Cricket since 2023. The team finished sixth in 2023, fifth in 2024, and sixth again in 2025.
