The film’s storyline revolves around Prashanti, who sacrifices her dreams for love, but instead of finding happiness, her life is filled with increasing pain. First, she becomes entangled in a problematic relationship with her lecturer, and later, she marries Omkar. Initially, Omkar presents himself as a kind, understanding, and supportive husband, but gradually, his true nature is revealed. He becomes abusive, controlling, and mentally tortures Prashanti.
Despite enduring all this, and even a tragic miscarriage, Prashanti refuses to break down. She quietly gathers her strength, breaks free from Omkar’s control, and rebuilds her life. She works hard, starts her own business, and becomes successful. When Omkar’s true nature is exposed and the matter reaches court, she refuses to grant him a divorce not out of love, but to ensure that Omkar faces the consequences of his actions and that no other woman falls victim to a man like him.
