Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor who was born on 22 June 1987 in the district of Dongjak-gu, Seoul. He is an actor, a model, and a singer who gained widespread popularity in the year 2009 with the role of “Gu Jun-Pyo” in a south Korean web series named “Boys over Flowers”.
EARLY LIFE
Lee min-ho attended Namseong Elementary School where he was very passionate about football. He was also selected for the junior football class of managers but after he encountered an injury during the fifth class, he has to leave his passion for football. In his first year at Danggok High School, Lee min-ho started building his interest in modeling and acting.
CAREER: START OF A NEW JOURNEY
Lee Min-ho has started giving auditions for many small roles but his official debut as the lead role was in “Secret Campus” which came in 2006. But his popularity has emerged beyond the boundaries of South Korea after the web series “Boys over Flowers” came in 2009 in which he played the lead role of “Gu Jun-Pyo” who is a handsome rich bad college student. The series attracted very high viewership ratings from all over the world and at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards he also received the Best New Actor award.
After this breakthrough, he played the lead role in many famous web series such as Personal Taste (2010), City Hunter (2011), and Faith (2012). But after his role as Kim Tan in “The Heirs” (2013), he again became the heartthrob of girls all around the world with his acting skills and mesmerizing looks. He has also given other super hit web series like “The legends of the blue sea” and “The King; Eternal Monarch”.
Lee Min Ho also has a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Shanghai after which he became the first Korean actor to have a wax statue.

In march 2015, there were rumors that the actor and South Korean singer and actor bae Suzy were dating. The company also confirmed their relationship but in 2017 the couple announced their breakup.
