Rishabh Rajendra Pant is a cricketer who plays for the Indian national team. He is a wicketkeeper & middle order batsman. He is also the captain of the IPL team Delhi Capitals.
Early Life of Rishabh
Rishabh was born on October 4, 1997, in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. His father and mothers are Rajendra Pant & Saroj Pant respectively. Rishabh used to travel to Delhi during weekends for his training. He & His mother used to stay in gurdwara as they didn’t have the money to stay in hotels. He started playing for Delhi under 19 team. During his match against Assam, he scored a total of 150 during his second innings. This was one of the most important matches of his life.
The Career of Rishabh Pant
Rishabh started playing in first class on October 22, 2015, in Ranji Trophy and luckily got a chance to play in List A just after 1 month. In 2015-16, he scored a total of 308 runs and became 3rd player only to score a triple century in a first-class cricket match. He scored the second fastest century by making a century in just 32 balls.
He soon got a chance to play in IPL for Delhi Daredevils. That year he had a successful season. He had successful seasons with just one exception in 2019 when he was selected in the place of Dhoni for wicket-keeper but he wasn’t able to live up to the expectations of fans. He was criticized for his performance in that season.
