The much-awaited teaser of Varun Tej’s film Matka has been released and the audience is liking it very much. The film ‘Matka’ promises a thrilling story set against the backdrop of a gambling empire. This empire caused immense damage to India’s socio-economic system in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

This film tells the audience the story of economic losses between 1958 and 1982 in Visakhapatnam. The story depicts Vasu’s journey from an ordinary person to the mastermind of the Matka gambling empire. As his influence grew, he began to compete with the Government of India. The story runs on the lines of morality, ambition and power. This 1 minute 51 second teaser gives a glimpse of the story full of grandeur, glamour and action.
Excellent dialogues increased the curiosity of the audience
The character of Vasu played by Varun Tej in this film challenges the traditional definition of good and evil. In her first Telugu film, Nora Fatehi mesmerized the audience with her brilliant dance, which has increased the glory of the historical drama. There is a dialogue in the film, “What is Dharma, what we need is Dharma. Until the wish of a human being does not die, my business will also not die!” The second dialogue of the film, “In this world, only one person out of a hundred people can earn ninety paise out of one rupee, the rest ninety-nine people keep fighting for ten paise. You are the only one who earns ninety paise like me, do not remain one of those ninety-nine people, because you have that strength.” Such powerful dialogues are enough to grab the attention of the audience.
