The Modi government has given this 5 percent daily allowance (DA) to the central employees, a very big gift. The central cabinet meeting of Modi government took place on Wednesday. In this meeting, the proposal to increase the daily allowance (DA) of the employees was passed.

Employee’s Allowance (DA) increased by 12 percent to 17 percent …

This may put a burden of 16 thousand crores on the public exchequer…

Before Diwali, the central government has given this big gift to the government employees. Demand to increase the 5 percent daily allowance (DA) of central employees has received approval from the government’s cabinet. The allowance for government employees has increased from 12 percent to 17 percent.

After the meeting ended, Cabinet Minister Prakash Javadekar briefed the decisions of the cabinet through a press conference, stating that the amount of allowance would be increased from July 2019. This decision of the government will be given to 50 lakh central employees and about 65 lakh pensioners. . It is expected to benefit from this. But on the other hand, due to this decision of the government, the exchequer may have a burden of 16 thousand crores.

This is the second time in the past 1 year that the dearness allowance has increased. In the last month of the first term, the Modi government had increased the dearness allowance of 12 per cent pensioners for the month for employees and pensioners. Earlier, government employees and pensioners used to get 9 percent. Then Prime Minister Modi had said that with this decision, the treasury of the country may cost 9168.12 crore rupees.

Farmers are also relieved by this decision of the cabinet. Under this decision, farmers can give their Aadhaar number for Kisan Samman Nidhi process till November 30. 1 August 2019 was the first date. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of 6 thousand rupees annually to small farmers.

Apart from this, the salary of the government ASHA workers will be increased from 1000 to 2000 rupees.
