Amaran is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. It is an action drama film. The trailer is yet to be released, but the teaser is out. In the teaser, we can see that Sivakarthikeyan has gone through a lot of physical training to look fit for the role. Another teaser featuring Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Vargehese has also been released.
Amaran is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a brave officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. He was awarded the Ashoka Chakra posthumously for his courageous work in counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir. The movie will also highlight the love story between Major Mukund and his wife, Indhu.

The film is set to release on October 31 and will compete at the box office with another movie, Bloody Beggar, starring Kavin.
Amaran is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, with Kamal Haasan producing it.
