Suniel Shetty recently shared a sweet story about his 15-month-old granddaughter, Ivara. He said she looks at a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi every morning, calls him “Modi Ji,” and offers him a laddu.
Suniel Shetty Shares a Sweet Story
In a recent interview, Suniel said he is a big fan of Narendra Modi. He shared that Ivara’s nanny once showed her Modi Ji’s picture at an airport, and since then she has remembered him. Since then, she opens the book containing his picture every morning and says, “Modi Ji, Modi Ji.”
Suniel further shared that Ivara goes to the Ganpati idol daily, picks up a laddu, and brings it to place in front of Modi Ji’s picture. According to him, neither he nor the nanny ever taught her to do this. He believes this is perhaps why he feels Narendra Modi possesses a unique charm.
On the work front, Suniel Shetty’s film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has recently been released in theaters. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav. The film collected around ₹15 crorein India on its opening day and earned ₹29 crore worldwide.
Athiya Shetty married KL Rahul in January 2023. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ivara, in March 2025.
