Actor Suniel Shetty has supported Ranveer Singh in the Don 3 controversy. He said no one has the right to ban an actor and that Ranveer has made a big contribution to the film industry.
Suniel Shetty Says Talks Can Solve the Issue
In a recent interview, Suniel said the problem can be solved if Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh talk to each other. He also said he does not want to interfere in the matter..
He added that Ranveer is doing very well in his career, and being part of a big franchise like Don is a great opportunity for any actor. He questioned how there could even be talk of banning someone who has contributed such substantial revenue to the industry.
Notably, Farhan Akhtar had announced Don 3 starring Ranveer Singh about three years ago. Later, Kiara Advani opted out of the film due to her maternity leave, causing delays in the project. Ranveer later started working on Dhurandhar and decided to leave Don 3 due to creative differences.
Reports say he offered to return the signing amount, but the makers claimed they had already spent around ₹45 crore on the film. Farhan Akhtar later filed complaints with the Producers Guild and FWICE, making the dispute bigger.
