EARLY LIFE :
Sriti Jha was born on 26 February 1986 in Darbhanga, Bihar, India.
Sriti did her schooling at Modern Indian School. Kathmandu and Laxman Public School, Delhi. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi. She joined the Verbum, an English dramatics society in Delhi, during college.
She belongs to a middle-class Brahmin family. She has one brother.
CAREER :
In 2004 and after a few years, she became the president of this society. She got her first lead role in a Verbum play, Ritual In Blood and won the Best Actor award in the Delhi University dramatics circuit for her performance.
In 2007, she made her first on-screen appearance as an actress in the TV serial Dhoom Machaao Dhoom.
In which she played the role of Malini Sharma. She won numerous awards for his role of Pragya Arora Mehra in the TV serial Kumkum Bhagya such as Zee Rishtey Awards for Popular Face Female, Favourite Beti, Favourite Pati-Patni with Shabbir Ahluwalia, Favourite Bahu, Favourite Popular Character Female, Favourite Jodi with Shabbir Ahluwalia; Indian Telly Awards for Best Actress in Lead Role, Best Jodi on TV with Shabbir Ahluwalia; Zee Gold Award for Face of the year; etc.
She is also a trained dancer and participated in popular dance reality shows like Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan (2008) and Nach Baliye Season 7.
In 2022 she participated in Fear Factor “Khatron Ke Khiladi.”
PERSONAL LIFE :
Initially, Sriti was dating the actor Harshad Chopra, but they both called off their relationship within a year. She is now dating the actor Kunal Karan Kapoor.
