Sanjana Ganesan is an Indian model and sports anchor. She came into the spotlight when she hosted the 2019 Cricket World Cup from the Indian side.
EARLY LIFE :
Sanjana Ganesan was born in Pune, Maharashtra, on Monday, 6 May 1991. Her zodiac sign is Taurus. She attended The Bishop’s School, Pune. In 2008, she pursued B.Tech from the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune.
She was a gold medalist in Symbiosis. After completing her college education, she joined an IT and digital marketing firm, CDK Global, as a software engineer from 2013 to 2014.
Her father, Ganesan Ramaswamy, is a management guru and an author. Her mother, Dr. Sushma Ganesan, is an advocate and a fitness coach. Her younger sister, Sheetal Ganesan.
CAREER :
Sanjana wanted to try modeling, and she participated in the “2012 Femina Style Diva” fashion show and ended up as a finalist. As she was in college, she did not pursue modeling. After graduating from college, she started working in an IT company and pursued modeling alongside her job. In 2013, she participated in the “Femina Miss India Pune” competition. She reached the finals, but she did not win.
Sanjana also hosts other sporting events, such as the Indian Super League (football) and the Badminton Super League. She often advocates against tobacco use, and in 2018, she participated in an anti-tobacco campaign. Sanjana has also hosted the IPL Auction on Star Sports.

In 2013, Sanjana participated in the “Femina Officially Gorgeous” competition and won it. In 2014, she was selected as a contestant in the reality TV show MTV Splitsvilla Season 7. She was paired with Ashwini Koul.
In 2014, when she participated in the reality TV show “MTV Splitsvilla 7”, she had an affair with her co-contestant, Ashwini Koul. However, the experience did not last long, and they broke up in 2015.
On 15 March 2021, she married Jasprit Bumrah, an Indian cricketer.
