Robert Douglas Thomas Pattison was born on 13 May 1986 In London to Richard pattison ,a car vintage dealer and clare Pattinson who worked as a brooker in a model agency .He grew up in london with his two sisters .

Career :

Robert was interested in Music rather than acting and started taking lessons in Piano and Guitar at the age of 4.

He used to perform at open mics and solo acuister guitar gigs in and around London where he wrote his own songs.Robert never considered to pursue a career in Acting and always wanted to become an musician .

On his father insistence ,he joined the local threatre and was on backstage for two years.

A talent agent spotted robert while he was performing as the lead actor of play “Our Town”.

His role in Vanity Fair was cut so the director felt guilt that she pushed him into role  of cedric  Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). which brought him to a wider audience at the age of 19 and he continued to star in mostly smaller British TV productions.

Since he was last  to Audition out of 3000 male,for Twilight series brought him into Limelight .

And he was also part of Chrisropher Nolans Batman and Tenant .

During Twilight saga ,he was linked to his co star Kristen Steward and then they broke up in May 2013 after a reconciliation in oct 2012.

The actor is currently dating Suki Waterhouse and the couple now resides in London .
