The phone can be purchased in Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue color options.

Redmi 8 has a 6.2-inch HD + Dot Notch display, whose screen resolution is 720 x 1520 pixels. The phone has been introduced on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset and is based on Android Pie based MIUI 10. Dual rear camera setup has been given in the phone. Which has a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. While for the convenience of video calling and selfie, the phone has an 8 megapixel front camera. For power backup, the phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging support. It has a Type-C slot and fingerprint sensor for charging.
