Ranveer Singh is an Indian actor who is a known fashion icon and known for his fashion statement. He is a recipient of several awards and is married to Deepika Padukone.
Early life :
Ranveer Singh Bhavani was born on 6 July 1985, into a Sindhi Sikh family, in Mumbai Maharastra. His grandparents moved to India during Partition from Karachi Pakistan.
He is the second cousin of Sonam Kapoor.
He always wanted to be an actor, but after joining H.R College of Commerce and Economics, he realized it was far-fetched and jumped into Creative writing. He did a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in the United States and took acting as a minor.
He worked as a copywriter for a few years in the advertising industry under O&M and J.Walter Thompson. He then started pursuing to be an actor and gave different auditions with no Luck.
Career:
Aditya Chopra gave Ranveer his first break in his film ‘Band Baja Baraat “.
His first commercial success l came from Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, a film based on Romeo and Juliet Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The audience was impressed by Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat’s performance of Ranveer which was a box office success and earned him awards for his roles.

In August 2012, Singh started dating Deepika Padukone, his Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela co-star. The couple made their engagement announcement in October 2018. The couple wed the next month at Lake Como, Italy, during traditional Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies
