Congress leader Rahul Gandhi left abroad on a brief private visit on Sunday. This information was given by the party. The Congress, however, did not say where Rahul Gandhi had gone. However, party chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala confirmed that he will stay out for a few days.
He said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has left abroad for a brief personal visit and will be out for a few days. When asked where the former Congress chief has gone, Surjewala did not disclose anything .

Meanwhile sources said, Rahul Gandhi left for Milan in Italy on a Qatar Airways flight in the morning. Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother lives in Italy and went to meet him earlier also.
A day after Rahul left abroad, the Congress has a 136th foundation day on Monday. The party’s flag will be hoisted at the All India Congress Committee headquarters on the occasion.
