EARLY LIFE :
Priya Anand was born ‘Priya Bharadwaj Anand’ on Wednesday, 17 September 1986, in Chennai. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She was raised in Chennai and Hyderabad. Her family moved to the USA around 19 years back. She majored in Communications (minor in business, journalism and African studies) at the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY Albany). She came to India in 2008, and since then, she has been staying with her grandparents in Chennai.

Priya Anand was supposed to make her acting debut with the Tamil Film “Pugaippadam” (2010), but the film was released two years later. Her first release came with the movie “Vaamanan” (2009), in which she played the role of ‘Divya.
Priya Anand made her Telugu debut with the film “Leader” (2010), in which she played the role of ‘Ratna Prabha.’
She made her Bollywood debut with the film “English Vinglish” in 2012, in which she played the role of ‘Radha.’
She made her Malayalam debut with the film “Ezra” (2017) in the role of ‘Priya’.
