November cold breaks record, snowfall triggered prematurely

With the changing weather patterns in North India, the cold has begun to rise. In November this year, there has been so much cold, which has not been in the past several years. A 17-year record was broken in the capital City of Delhi. The Snow snowfall in the hills is also taking off in November.

In Rajasthan, the first temperature has become a new record of zero degree in November. The mercury reached below zero for the first time in history in November at Mount Abu in Rajasthan. Mount Abu was colder than hill stations like Srinagar, Kullu and Manali.

According to the Met department (IMD), snowfall in the hilly state of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh is expected to further increase the cold wave in the plains.

In Jammu and Kashmir, heavy snowfall has stopped several important routes. The mountains are getting snowfall in November itself. In most of the plains of Kashmir, the first snowfall of the season took place on Monday. The areas at the height of the valley had more snowfall than usual, leading to the closure of Srinagar-Leh route connecting the valley to Ladakh.

This year, snowfall started from November. Which is also surprising to the common people as well as the meteorological department scientists. Surprisingly, in some areas, there is snowfall for the second and third time in November itself, while there is usually snowfall in December.

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 6.3 degrees Celsius, five degrees Celsius below normal, the lowest temperature recorded in the month in the past 17 years, amid chilly winds on Monday. This information was given by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the lowest temperature this month, the department said.According to the Met department, the minimum temperature in Delhi is 12.3 degrees Celsius between November 19 and 21 and 11.3 degrees Celsius from November 22 to November 26. But this time the record of winter in Delhi is freezing.
