‘Mismatched’ is the story of a very unique couple—Dimple Ahuja (Prajakta Koli), a middle-class girl from Ambala, who is passionate about technology, and Rishi Singh Shekhawat (Rohit Saraf), a true lover from a royal family in Jaipur. The clash of their different dreams and visions of life creates a beautiful but complicated story.
This web series is based on author Sandhya Menon’s book When Dimple Met Rishi. The first two seasons made the pair of Prajakta and Rohit very popular among the audience, especially the youth. Their chemistry was so charming that the characters of the series settled in the hearts of the people.
Dimple and Rishi’s chemistry leaves its mark in the third season as well. But, if we talk about the story, then this season does not live up to the expectations. This time the story does not have depth and novelty. The plot feels superficial and weak, which fails to keep the audience engaged.
However, the performances of the cast are still great. Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf have brought their characters to life. The banter and romance between them is worth watching. But the magic seems incomplete without an interesting plot.
Overall, ‘Mismatched Season 3’ is definitely worth watching because of its characters and their chemistry, but it proves to be weak on the story front. This season may disappoint those viewers who came with the expectation of watching something new and exciting.
