Shilpi Goel is a well-known nutrition expert, wellness professional and functional medicine practitioner. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals achieve optimal health through sustainable lifestyle alterations. Shilpi Goel was born in Ambikapur on April 9, 1983. Her parents, Ramkishan and Shashi Agrawal, instilled strong family values in Shilpi and her siblings. A significant portion of Shilpi Goel’s formal education occurred in Raipur, where she developed the academic discipline and curiosity that would lead her toward the field of health sciences.

Education and Career of Shilpi Goel
After completing her undergraduate degree in human nutrition, which was the basis of her career, Shilpi decided to continue her education. As a result, she received a Master of Science in Dietetics and subsequently earned the IFMCP certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine in the United States. Today, Shilpi Goel, along with other nutritionists and nutrition educators in the functional medicine community, utilise both traditional nutrition science and modern root-cause approaches in their work with patients.
Founder of NUTRISHILP
Shilpi Goel is the founder of NUTRISHILP, a global wellness company focused on managing weight, metabolic disorders and preventive health. Shilpi’s focus extends beyond helping people lose weight and instead addresses lifestyle related diseases such as diabetes, hormonal imbalance, thyroid disorders and gut health concerns. Shilpi Goel believes that the transformation of health must begin with an individual’s awareness, consistency and personalisation to achieve true health. In her practice, Shilpi Goel emphasizes the importance of personalized medicine and the body type. She focuses on understanding the way an individual eats, how they eat emotionally, their individual metabolism, and other aspects of the individual’s body. Mindful eating, well-balanced nutrition, and practical lifestyle choices are the core tenets of her methodology, which has enabled thousands of people to regain the control of their health, without resorting to extreme restrictions, or resorting to temporary solutions.
Public Engagement
In addition to her clinical practice, Shilpi Goel has also established her own leadership in advancing education and public engagement through her work with the Indian Dietetics Association in Chhattisgarh as Convener (2019-2021), and has contributed significantly to both the professional development and awareness of dietetic professionals in that state. As a TEDx Speaker (September 2022), she is able to effectively utilize storytelling along with scientific information to encourage people to re-think their relationships with food and health. In addition, Shilpi is also the author of “Take A Shill Pill,” which encompasses her philosophy of calmness, balance, and mindfulness in a fast-paced modern world. Additionally, Shilpi has been a guest speaker at IIM Raipur, Mayo College, Ajmer, and has appeared in numerous national media outlets as an educator on holistic wellness and preventive health.
