LeBron James is an American professional basketball player. He was born in Akron, Ohio, the US on 30 December 1984 in a poverty-stricken family and had an arduous childhood. He was brought up only by his mother who for his good sake sent him to Frank Walker, a local football coach who provided him with a house to live in. In his initial days, James used to play both basketball and American football. In the year 1999, he joined St. Vincent- St. Mary High School (a Catholic school in Marianist Tradition) where he was incorporated among one of the best players of basketball as well as American football. Subsequently, he centralized all his focus on basketball.
