He was born in Oxfordshire town in Wallingford, England. He was taken to Stuart Bailey and Carole Bailey. His father, Stuart Bailey, was a managing director. His mother, Carole Bailey, was an audiologist by profession. He has three sisters. He is the youngest child of them all. He is the only son of the family.
He went to The Oratory School. While attending this school, he took ballet lessons. After that, he studied at Magdalen College School, Oxford. He got a music scholarship and played the piano and clarinet. He declined his University Acceptance Offer and refused to go to Drama school.
CAREER
In 1995, when he was seven years old, he auditioned and landed the role of Tiny Tim and Young Scrooge in the Royal Shakespeare Company. It was the production of The Christmas Carol at the Barbican Theatre in London. In the same year, he played in the Victorian period drama named Bramwell.
In 2020, he starred as Anthony Viscount Bridgerton, the eldest son of the Bridgerton family. He played a role in the Netflix period drama series named Bridgerton. It is the production of the Shondaland. Also an adaptation of Julia Quinn’s Regency romance novels.
He has received Awards for his roles in films such as Five Children and It, Permanent Vacation, Testament of Youth, The Young Messiah, The Mercy, Best Birthday Ever, Wicked: Part One, Wicked: Part Two, etc.
