About – (Lara Dutta) She agreed to star in the Tamil film Arasatchi in 2002, but the film wasn’t released until mid-2004 due to budgetary constraints. Success at the box office helped her earn the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in her 2003 Hindi debut film, Andaaz. However, Dutta’s voice was dubbed by Mona Shetty because the directors wanted two separate personas for the female stars and Kajal, Dutta’s part, needed to have a high-pitched voice. Dutta made a brief appearance in the hit song “Aisa Jadoo,” which was featured in the 2004 film Khakee. Her next film, Bardaasht, did not fare as well at the box office.
